"Very nice little Japanese restaurant in Umina. The food was well proportioned and tasty and the plum wine was nice although sweet as sherry. My favourite dish was the unagidon (eel and rice) I also had the Japanese curry that was good although not the best I’ve ever had. The kaarage chicken was delicious. Yakiniku was good too. Overall recommended."

"Great little find in the heart of Umina. Our table shared a few dishes and enjoyed them all. A few favourites included the chicken karage, veg gyoza and mixed tempura plate and fresh sushi rolls. A good drinks menu of both local and traditional options. The Japanese plum wine was sweet and tasty. Recommend booking, even on weeknights as it gets quite busy."

"Sushi was yummy! We live in Sydney and we are only in Umina to get some takeaway before we head to the beach. We ordered the deluxe sushi set and some rolls. OMG it’s sooooo yummy. We might actually come back one day to dine in and try the other dishes other reviewers are recommending."

"Ordered pickup for dinner, it was ready on time, I was greeted with a friendly hello and a smile when I arrived, and we were very happy with every single item we ordered: - beef tataki - edamame - chicken karaage - salmon roll (with lots of salmon!) - beef udon - spicy pork udon (not that spicy but very tasty!) - japanese pickles All tasty and additionally, not too salty, which is a plus! :)"

"Amazing, delicious and fresh everytime!! We had tempura prawns and veg, udon noodle with beef, teriyaki salmon salad, Pickles and a tuna and avocado roll. All of the meats were melt in your mouth tasty. Miori is one of my favourite local restaurants, thank you for your consistent, wonderful service and food."
